Common questions

The workout doesn't open on my Apple Watch

Make sure SplitWODz is installed on the Watch (open the Watch app on your iPhone › My Watch › scroll to SplitWODz), the Watch is on your wrist and unlocked, and Bluetooth is on. You can also open SplitWODz on the Watch and pick the workout there; it works without the phone nearby.

My Watch sets aren't in the iPhone's logbook yet

Sets logged on the Watch away from the phone are sent when the two are near each other again. Open SplitWODz on the iPhone to catch up.

How do supersets work?

Swipe right on an exercise (or use its ••• menu) and choose Link with next. After a set, the linked exercise starts straight away with no rest; rest comes after the last one in the round.

What does Fit to my time do?

Tap Fit to my time on the day card, pick your minutes and the exercises you must keep. SplitWODz trims sets first, then skips exercises. You can go back to the full workout any time.

Heart rate or zone colors don't show

Heart rate comes from the Apple Watch during a workout. Check that SplitWODz may read heart rate in the Health app (your profile picture › Apps › SplitWODz), and set your age in Settings › Heart-rate zones. Readings older than 20 seconds show grey.

Can I bring my history from another app?

Yes. Export your history from Strong or Hevy as a CSV file, then in SplitWODz go to Settings and choose Import from Strong or Hevy.

How do I back up or move to a new phone?

Your data is in your iPhone's normal backups. You can also save a SplitWODz backup file in Settings and restore it on the new phone.
